Parkleigh began as a pharmacy in 1960. For ten years, operating as a typical drug store, we served the medical needs of this area of Rochester. In 1970 we envisioned new ideas in merchandising unusual products. Since that time we've grown in size and reputation in our present location, and we've said goodbye to the pharmacy.

Our close proximity to the Rochester Museum and Science Center, Strong Museum, The Memorial Art Gallery, and The International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House places us at an interesting and exciting crossroads in the city.

There are many fine restaurants and shops in the East Avenue and Park Avenue area, and you'll always find the people at Parkleigh aware and eager to tell you about special events occurring in the neighborhood.

The sound of Parkleigh is an extensive collection of fine jazz and classical music that can be heard throughout the store. We often have live music from one o'clock to three o'clock on Sundays.

Some of our favorite things to do? Sampling our wonderful coffees and teas, and yes, even our fabulous chocolates. Please visit us soon for a most gratifying experience.
